PRIMAVERA PRO STARTUPS 2018: EMOTIONS, some surprises AND BRILLIANT speaches

What an amazing evening with music startups, investors and big companies eager to disrupt the music industry. Thanks to all of you for being part of the 5th edition of Primavera Pro Startups.

We truly enjoyed a lot both expert talks from Susanne Franz (SEAT) and Àlex Puig (Alastria Blockchain) gave and we had de amazing opportunity to listen to the very diverse and interesting views of Steve Mayall (Music Ally), Kevin Bacon (Blockpool), Allen Bargfrede (Dot Blockchain Media) and G. Thomas Esmay (Singular DTV) about their point of view about the state of the blockchain technology.

During the break, we all networked and had fun while drinking cava, the typical Catalan drink, courtesy of Cava Rabetllat i Vidal. Later on, it was time for our 5 top music startups to shine on the stage presenting their dream projects. Congratulations to Lickd, Seeqnc and Stereotheque for being selected to pitch at this year edition.

About Roadie Tuner

Beginner guitarists are almost always frustrated with not knowing how to tune their guitar. Meanwhile, touring musicians spend vital minutes during sets to manually switch their instrument from one complicated tuning to the next. No matter your experience level, tuning can be a chore and take time away from playing.

When put on any of the pegs, it analyzes the vibrations from a plucked guitar string to know its current pitch. Then, its motor rotates the peg until it’s perfectly tuned. It takes just 30 seconds to tune an entire guitar into any alternate tuning you choose. This process can be easily duplicated to offer musicians of all experience levels the best sound their instrument can produce.

Last but not least, congratulations to Seeqnc, who won the social media award! Seeqnc is the world's first platform to track music live. Seeqnc Live Music Tracking enables any label, producer or DJ to track and analyze music usage in real-time.
